Toffy Ilagan is an industrialist, who strives to assist clients in their personal and professional lives as a coach and a business consultant. He is a connoisseur in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; having obtained a blackbelt from Alvin Aguilar, head coach of Deftac Ortigas (a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team), and organized several Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt seminars such as Tinguinha, Clark Gracie and Caio Terra.

Toffy owns several businesses in Metro Manila; furthering his dream of creating a community that will nourish individuals in health and in business. Through the use of internet marketing, Deftac Ortigas (the brain child of Toffy Ilagan and Raymond Varilla), became one of the most successful Brazilian Jiu Jitsu studios in the Philippines.

Toffy is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), while holding a post-graduate diploma in Management in De La Salle University and a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. In addition to coaching people in Jiu Jitsu, he owns several websites including, (one of the most famous blogs and event companies in the Philippines), and He spear-headed the growth of the Project Lifestyle Manila fan base through social media marketing.

In every aspect of his life, Toffy lives by and teaches his motto: “Whatever is worth doing, is worth doing well”. Above all else, he believes in nurturing his clients and works vigorously to help them achieve their goals; whether in health or business. He has been a coach of eight years and is affiliated with many internet marketing groups throughout the Philippines.

In Toffy’s spare time, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, going to the gym, traveling, collecting watches and takes pleasure in being a foodie. Toffy’s love for life and the people he meets, encourages him to keep moving forward to create a community where everyone will help each other in health and business.
